Thoroughly enjoying these books with my five year old child. They’re engaging stories that wants to listen to and can use them with heart words to identify sight words at this level. Great stories, much more enjoyable than the readers used at our child’s school.

Not as expected, reading level far to hard for my son. Really disappointed.

Hi Julie, these books have been expertly levelled at the 5-5.5 year reading level. They are used all around the world by literacy teachers and the feedback has been only positive. Your son may not be ready to move on from miniRAINBOWS – perhaps needs to practice more (there are 23 books in the mini’ series). Or, as we suggested by email, the Lingomagic series could be a helpful “go between”.
